Inspire young people - and be inspired by young people

Mentor and guide young people starting their working lives

Working Rite uses a 3-phase programme to help young people start their working lives.

The third phase of the Working Rite programme to support young people is our Connections mentoring programme.

The Connections mentoring programme is a great chance for you to share lots – and get even more in return.  We match and support mentors to help young people over a 12 month period. Mentors and young people typically connect every 2 weeks, with breaks for holidays.

We welcome mentors of different ages and backgrounds.  We welcome people in work and who are retired.  We welcome people at different levels in organisations.  The common thing we look for is a commitment to helping young people over a 12 month period.

All Working Rite mentors are supported to complete PVG checks, receive mentor training and also get a Scottish Mentoring Network mentor certification.
